Getting that Perfect Shot

Taking family pictures and trying to get that perfect image I think is just about impossible when you are dealing with 4 kids under the age of 4, let alone with two infants and one who is desperately needing a nap. Trying to get them all to look at the camera at the same time and smile the so called perfect smile just did not happen in our pictures that we took a couple of weeks ago. I am into the "artistic" side of photography anyway so a non-posed picture I think results the best than when we all try to look and smile at the same time. Here are a couple that we took on one of the family places. Wyatt in the family picture is just the one I am talking about when trying to get all four of the kiddos to look. Sometimes you just end up lucky and get a good shot here and there. This one of the boys is an example of that. They were just playing around on a log there in one of our pastures and we told them to turn around and the shot was there.
