Today the kids and I with their Mammie and Paw Paw visited the Moody Gardens in Galveston, Texas. There are many things that you can do there, but there are only a few that are really lets just say "age appropriate" for a 4 and 2 year old. There are three different pyramids each containing its own exhibit separate from the others. We went to the aquarium pyramid. It really was a site to be seen. There is a part where you walk through and the water is all around you except for
the floor you are walking on, the boys saw sharks, sting rays, and a whole bunch of fish, oh and even a 350 lb. sea turtle. We were able to witness them getting fed by the divers. The boys did get to touch a star fish and a sea urchin from one of the Caribbean exhibits. The boys bounced around from glass box to glass box peeping in on all the different species of fish. They did have a penguin exhibit which the boys could relate to having seen the movie Happy Feet. They were even able to see how they sized up to the King and Emperor Penguin.

Looks like so much fun. I've been wanted to visit there for a while now but was afraid of the whole "age appropriate" thing - maybe we'll wait 'til another year.
