After almost 3 months of waiting, the rains finally came to our part of the country. The most we have been able to measure around our parts is about 2 tenths of an inch since about the middle part of May. That is not quite enough to get the job done on growing grass for the cattle or putting water in the tanks. BUT, the wait is finally over. A week or so ago we measured up close to 7 inches here at our house. It was so dry here and the ground was so cracked you could not even tell it had rained; however, down the road a bit where we lease a place they had measure somewhere between 10-14 inches. I took my camera long so I could share with you what it all looked like........
