The 2nd of 5

We moved Christmas with my parents to the week or weekend before Christmas so the time that John and i got to spend with them would be a little less rushed.  Use to we would alternate every year coming down Christmas Eve or being in Katy by lunch on Christmas morning. This was no so bad when we were dating or before the kids came along,  but since trying to
cram 5 Christmases in 2 days was just about impossible.  So this way we each enjoy everyones company without having all the time constraints of being somewhere else that is 2 hours away.  The boys finally got their "water watches"  that they have been asking for, for about a year. Then Santa was going to have to deliver their "big"  gift on Christmas Eve, the Take 5 sports station as well as the twins, their outdoor playhouse.  Mammie and PawPaw also gave them each 2 pair of jeans and a sweat shirt jacket with matching thermal shirts.  Aunt TuTu and Uncle John gave the girls dishes, a blinder and mixer and the boys ponchos, the game Jumping Monkeys and a big Dr. Suse Book.

I just want to thank mom and dad for a lovely weekend.  I know it has to be hard having not only the 6 of us, but my brother, his wife and two dogs.  Talk about going from peace and quiet to constant commotion.  Anyway we all had a great time and the kids are really enjoying everything they got from Mammie and PawPaw.  Josh and I are as well.  We finally got some new telephones for the house and boy did we need them.
The one cordless we had that might as well of had a paper clip for the antenna it just wasn't cutting the mustard any longer.  Dad got a surprise as well,  mom got him a Wii.  When they were at my house a few weeks back, they were playing ours and he loved it. There are some great games out there.  I just wish I had the time to play it.
