Uncle John and Aunt TuTu were not able to make it up here this weekend so they sent the boys gift in the mail. It was Elf on a Shelf. Here, let be do some explaining.....One of Santa's Elfs comes to live with you during the christmas season and every night when we all go to sleep Twinkle ,(that is what the boys named him) will go and report to Ole' St. Nick of our daily behaviors. When Twinkle returns in the morning he will be "perched" on a different spot for observation. The boys look for him every morning to see when he has "landed." Now Twinkle cannot talk nor are the boys allowed to touch him because by doing so all his magical powers will be lost and then he will not be able to go back to the North Pole. So this Chirstmas season we have started a Drews' Family Tradition with Twinkle, The Elf on the Shelf.

My mom and dad just bought this for our boys. How fun and magical! All that Christmas should be! I love the name "Twinkle". Must be the new rage and tradition.
