Perfect Attendance

On Friday Wyatt went to school just like any other school day.  But on this day things turned out a little bit different for him.

I received a call from a friend who works at the school.  The first thing that went through my head was is Wyatt ok.  You never know when the school calls what has happened.  Well come to find out they had an awards ceremony to recognize all those students who made straight A's and those with perfect attendance for the first half of the year.  I did not get any information in the mail for this or you know I would have been there with bells on.  Anyway,  with this recognition Wyatt's name was placed into a hopper for a drawing for a bicycle. There were 26 bikes & helmets donated from Academy to the school.  Low-an-behold,  Wyatt's name was drawn along with 3 other kids from his pre-k class alone.  My friend Mindy captured his surprise and "proudness"  after they let them go to their bikes.
