As fall approaches we start to see the life around us be put to sleep. Leaves begin to change, the grass begins to go dormant and animals begin to prepare for what Mother Nature has in store for the winter months ahead. For three or four months it is like the life around us has disappeared. There is no color in the trees, there is no color in the flowers and for the most part the skies stay dark and gray. However, there is the day when you hear the first bird chip, and you slowly see the change in the colors once again. Life is starting over. Trees begin to bloom, the grass begins to grow and there is new life coming into the world around us.
As for us we have new life as well. Our brood mares will being to foal this spring and our first has just arrived. Annabelle had her first foal on Monday and we would like to share her with you. We don't have the name we will leave that to the boys (oh, yeah, it should be interesting). Be we will let you know. Bell our other mare should have her foal in the next couple of weeks.
