Birthday Visit

We spent a couple of days down in Katy for the kids to visit Mammie and PawPaw and for me to get a chance to see my best friends new baby, Zoe Ann. On Friday my parents treated the girls for their birthday with a trip to The Build A Bear Workshop. This was my first time and all of the kids first time to this store as well and they were all excited. The girls each chose a tie dyed bear with an outfit and a cupcake to represent their 2nd birthday. The boys each got to choose an animal as well, Wyatt chose a "BEVO", of all things however we did talk him out of getting the t-sip t-shirt and he got an NBA outfit w/ a basketball instead. Zane chose a monkey, very fitting for this boy, and a pair of overalls. They each got to name their bears, monkey and BEVO, they are as follows the girls chose Oowee, Bay, the monkey is Sprite, and the BEVO is Coke. You have to love the names that the kids choose. We had a great time and really enjoyed getting to spend time with mom and dad. The kids also love the "get-a-way" from their own surroundings to spend some time in a new environment with Mammie and PawPaw and different things to play with. Making our way though the mall to the Build A Bear Workshop.

Zane choose his monkey, Sprite.

Wyatt wanting the Bevo he later named, Coke.

The girls making their choice of which bear was the softest, later choosing the tie dye.

Adele handing the ladie her heart for her bear, Bay.

Fuffing and brushing the bears after being stuffed.

Dressing their newly stuffed bears with their special brithday outfit.

Wyatt thinking that this t-sip, BEVO choice may not be such a good idea.

Our crew, L-R: Adele, Zane, Wyatt, Kaylea and Lily

Looks like they had a good time. I have never been to that place but it looks like a neat place. With only boys in our house, it's likely that we might NOT go any time soon either.

Bryson knows the symbol for UT probably better than the A&M one since my inlaws have entire rooms decorated with Longhorn stuff. Lovely. :)
