Well baseball for 2011 is in full swing for my little leaguers. Wyatt moved up to machine pitch (took the place of coach pitch) and Zane is still t-balling it. I am finally out there getting to coach the little guys and it is so much fun. Both boys have had their first pre-season tournament, Zane's team won the t-ball tournament for a second time in a row, and Wyatt's team came in second in their first tournament after losing their 4th game in a row for the day. Just this past Monday Wyatt went from being my curly headed little boy to looking all grown up. We made a deal at the beginning of the season that if he hit a homerun he could cut his hair as short as his dads. Well, the homerun came and now there are no more curly. I was saddened so much as I was sweeping those precious locks into the dust pan, but they are already on their way back and I cannot wait to see them again.

The Diamond & and The Ring
So as we are juggling the end of school and baseball being in full swing, Wyatt has his newest project two brangus heifers, we are preparing for the State and National Shows coming up this summer. Wyatt will have his appearance in the show ring this coming June and well I really don't think he knows what all he is getting into. He works so hard everyday walking Bud-r-Cup, feeding her, scooping her pen, brushing her, setting her feet, but I don't really think he know exactly why he is having to do all of this intense labor. All I hear is you walk her today, and well I am trying to wean myself off from walking her so she is use to him and responds to him. She is doing great and well the other heifer Rosie she is just really getting started, so we are going to have to bust some hump to get her ready to go for Nationals in July. So there will be more on the shows coming up.
As far as the twins, well they are just in that three year old mess stage. Lily is as independent as they come and well Adele is just aiming to please whoever she is around. They will be 4 this summer and it just seems like yesterday that I could hold them in the palm of my hand, literally. Next year they will be hitting the diamond w/ me being their coach, so that will mean I have Zane's team (assistant there), then the twins, holy cow, is it possible to have too many irons in the fire, or better yet if you get a reward for the most irons, well I am in the running for that.
Zane will graduate from PreK in a week and I cannot believe he will be starting Kindergarden. I don't know where the time is going but it is going somewhere fast. He is such my sweet lovable child compared to his older brother it is good to have them be so different. However I just hope that God threw the mold away once he was made :).
I am pretty sure this should have you all caught up to speed now with the happenings in the Drews' household. We just take each day one step at a time and well it all seems to get done by the time we lay our heads down in the pillow. If not, well it will always be there tomorrow.
