Well I have finally broken down and got more involved in the technological world. A friend of mine has been trying for a year to get me up and running and well now I guess is a good of a time as any to get in with today's society and computers. I figure instead of e-mailing everyone just about monthly with all of the family changes, they can just look us up and put us in their favorites!!!
Things around the Drews' household has been mighty busy since the start of 2008. The twins are now 10 months old, WOW, and Adele is now beginning to take her first steps. She like her older brother Zane requires little sleep to go a long way. It just seems like yesterday I was heading into labor and delivery to bring them into this world. Lily will not be far behind her. She is more the observer and
thinker of the two, but once she decided to get moving it did not take her long to figure it out. She was my army crawler for about 2 months before she decided that it was for the birds and that hands and knees was the way to go. Now, cruising around furniture is her choice of travel.
As for the boys, well all I can say is that boys will be boys. Wyatt now 4 1/2 is out of school for the summer. We had his "graduation" last week and now he is waking up every morning asking " is it a school day or Sunday school day?" So I think he was ready to see the school come to and end, not because he was tired of going I think he was just tried of waking up at 6:30 in the morning. You know just when you think you have all the time in the world to spend with your kids before they start school and get involved with everything under the sun, the time for all that activity is here. Wyatt wanted to start last August but we held him off until this past January, not because we thought he was not ready, but because mom and dad were not ready. Letting go and knowing that this was the beginning and there was no looking back was a little bit for me to chew off as a stay-at-home mom. Needless to say he enjoyed going... we started off just 2 days a week, but that was not enough for the little guy in his words he did not want to go "between the days." So we started everyday and in about a week we could tell that school was doing something for him. He read his first word C-A-T which I was just floored by. So, I knew that school was doing good in more than just the social aspect.
Now Zane, well that boy is just on the go non stop. Little or no sleep is required for him to have at least a 1/2 of days worth of energy. He is a little copy cat of Wyatt. It is like he is a sheep in a herd, you know if one jumps they all jump, well if Wyatt is doing something Zane is right along behind him doing the same thing whether good, bad or indifferent. But he has just amazed us all with what he can do for being only 2 1/2. Just two weeks ago he started riding a bicycle with NO TRAINING WHEELS. He went up to Josh one afternoon and told him, "Daddy I want to try with no baby wheels." So we were thinking that we would be there behind him holding the seat as he rode, boy were we wrong. He had his balance and well there was no looking back. You know he never lost his balance or crashed and burned like we thought would happne. We could not believe what we were seeing. Now the only struggle is, is that he is just a bit too short to start the bike on his own, but he is getting there.

Yeah, I get to leave the first comment! I can't believe the girls are almost 1 years old either - time has flown by. I'm so glad you have entered the blogging world and I can't wait to keep up with your family through your blog.
This is GREAT!!!! I have enjoyed the pictures you have sent out, but this looks so nice. Now it is even easier to keep up with the goings on with your busy family. Thanks for doing this. Love your kids fast as they will be grown before you are ready!
