I thought I would let you in on a little something that I have been working on since the start of the year. Besides being a Mary Kay Independent beauty consultant, (www.marykay.com/ldrews), I have created my own business, Designs by the Heart, designing Chic "western" accessories with a rhinestone twist. It all started out that around Christmas when I drew the names of a couple of Josh's cousins and on their list of things they like was jewelry. Well, this got the ball rolling and I found that this was my stress reliever. I started out w/ just jewelry of many different styles and colors, then I made a pair of the wester flops for myself and now that has grown to others wanting similar styles. I did not get a web site up until an ol' softball teammate of mine from A&M who is a web designer (www.amrinedesign.com) got me started. She just ran with
it and created a site exactly to my taste and what I was looking for. THANKS RACHEL!!!!!! I am usually updating and adding pictures of different jewelry at least once a month. Most of my traditional turquoise is under Urban Cowgirl Collection, then I have the Wyatt Earp and Zane Gray collection where I have incorporated the turquoise with a little bit of a modern twist. Then the last of the jewelry collections is the Two Peas in a Pod where you can find most th
e the colored stones. You can also custom order something if you have a specific idea in mind and that goes for both the jewelry and shoes. I am hoping that come the second week in October I will be able to have a booth at the Katy Rice Harvest Festival but that will all depend on what Josh has to say. Go and visit my site www.designsbytheheart.com and let me know what you think. If you have some gifts in mind I can be sure to help.

You can make your sites direct links through blogger - it's the button next to the font color selector that looks like a green dot with a chain link on top. :) Love the blog! Keep it up!
