I was so excited for Christmas Day to arrive....I finally could take down that tree. The twins were all in it all season and it was driving me crazy. From taking the tops off of ornaments to the tags off of presents it was a mess. So the next day I did de-Christmas, but in the meantime Josh, I and the twins waited for the boys to get out of bed to see what the man in red brought them. We had to actually wake the boys up around 9am so we could get the morning moving before it was time to head out the door to MoMo and PoPo's for Christmas day celebrations. Josh had to leave and go feed for about an hour and a half leaving me to get the kids ready, the ham cut and sliced, the car packed, trash picked up, beds made, and some gifts put away, oh and get me dressed as well.
So when he was back, all I had left to do was get the ham on a platter, gifts in the car and me dressed. Needless to say he was a little upset that he could not just come home and get dressed and get in the car like most times, he actually had to lift a finger a bit and help me finish up things around the house. And I get asked the questions, "What have you been doing while I was gone?" Men, you can't live with them, but you can't live without them either. I guess I will never understand their thinking. Anyway, I think the kids were all excited about their Christmas this year. There was no complaining on their end.
Josh putting on their JA necklaces he gave them. They wore them with pride, especially Adele (daddy's girl for sure)

I'm glad we're not the only family jumping from house to house and having a never ending Christmas celebration. What a blast, but I'm with you about the tree - I took mine down asap for the! exact! same! reasons!
